OK, let's clear things up a bit about 'The Stairs'.

(This journal can be used as a FAQ, and I will update it regularly as new questions come along.)

1) WHY DON'T THE CHARACTERS SPEAK ?

This is a silent (or dialogue-less) comic. Everything the characters do, think or say are being conveyed through drawing only. No words.

2) WHAT ARE THE CHARACTERS' NAMES ?

The characters have no name, and won't have any. Since it is a dialogue-less comic, they wouldn't be able to say each others' name any way

3) WHAT IS THIS COMIC ABOUT ?

The original idea popped up in my head about a year ago. I asked myself: if I had to draw one and only comic before I die, what would it be? What kind of story would I want to tell people? What kind of idea would I like to communicate, that only drawing can do? This is where 'The Stairs' started taking shape.

To simplify, this comic is very important to me and I am putting a lot of energy and thinking into it. It will also include many 'experimental elements' that I have never seen in any other comic before, and I have no idea what the result will be. But that's the thrill! =9

The only problem is that the comic should only 'kick-off' and show its originality from around p. 50 or so. I tried to make it happen earlier but that just wouldn't work. This is why I am very eager to get there, and also the main reason I am doing a drawing marathon right now.

But if you bear with me until then, I promise you won't be disappointed =9

4) WHERE ARE THE STAIRS LEADING TO ?

Since this is the main point of the comic, I am obviously not going to reveal it

5) WHY ARE YOU NOT CONTINUING LUNA'S STORY ?

The Luna storyline was more like a start-up project to get me drawing again, and participate to some OC Tournaments on DA. I am now going to focus on more original stuff, like color illustrations and short comic projects. That doesn't mean Luna and her friends won't return in the future, but at least not at moment.
